Kase Chauhan | Artist #544

Kase a.k.a The Caffeinated Hippo, is a painter and workshop leader based in Oxfordshire.
I paint abstract realistic paintings that reveal hidden meanings when they glow in the dark. A different meaning in day or night - never revealed together allowing you to fill in the gaps.
I want to inspire you to create. Art can hugely benefit your mental health. Join me here in creating a piece of public art & support charity or ask about my workshops.

Dates I will be at the Venue:
19th - 22nd of May
10 - 6pm

Sonas means happiness & mòr means great happiness in Gaelic.
I design & make sand cast jewellery - set with vibrant stones, a hint of humour & lots of meaning. Everything I make has a story or meaning that is related to our connections with one another. It’s our connections that bring us together and promote happiness.
You’ll also find an emphasis on feminine energy & strength.

This season, I am concentrating my creativity on crochet but I also make macrame decor, paper flowers & memory bears.
My aim is to bring colour & joy through my creations. I love to pass on my knowledge & passion through workshops which engage & channel creative energies to promote mental wellbeing.

I paint when I’m done! When I can’t do anything else. When I’m at the end of myself.
It’s a cathartic process - layer upon layer.
I sing, worship and dance and paint at the same time - often crying, talking to the Lord and laughing.
What comes comes - sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, sometimes time after time.
